Volunteers Make it Happen!

Kansas Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom (KFAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting classrooms to Kansas agriculture. With help from volunteers like you, we can increase the number of teachers and students who benefit from agriculture in the classroom. KFAC accepts applications year round. For more information, contact us at info@ksagclassroom.org or fill out the volunteer interest form.

Volunteer Opportunities

Teachers

We want to celebrate your success and ensure that our lesson plans meet your needs. Contribute to our teacher success stories, test new lesson plans in your classroom, or participate in a focus group.

Local Volunteer

Interested in volunteering in your local community in a formal classroom, informal setting, ag day, day on the farm, or any other activity to introduce agriculture to today's youth? Our Volunteer Guide is a great place to start.

Hands-on Workshop Demonstrator

Are you a retired teacher or ag educator who is looking for an occasional volunteer opportunity? Our workshop team meets once a year for training on our newest lesson plans and then team members host workshops as needed throughout the year. We will contact you when we have an opportunity in your area.
