Publisher of High Plains Journal, Zac Stuckey to serve as honorary chair to support connecting agriculture and classrooms.

MANHATTAN, KANSAS, November 10, 2021 – Kansas Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom (KFAC) announces Zac Stuckey as their Giving Tuesday Honorary Chair. Stuckey leads the legacy of High Plains Journal as the publisher and as an advocate for farmers and ranchers with a desire to invest in other people.

"Agriculture is in my blood," Stucky asserts.

His family, as well as many of his friends, make their living in agriculture. He describes agriculture as a community that cares about people and finds strength in coming together to impact lives around the world with a unity that brings the connection between producers and end-consumers closer; strength and confidence during unpredictable markets and a passion committed to progress.

"I support KFAC because whether you have a personal tie to a family farm or business, it represents something bigger than livestock or crop yield," says Stuckey. "KFAC is sustainable agriculture and helps connect these values to the classroom that ensure students develop their own legacy with consistent integrity and character."

KFAC provides free educator resources, teacher professional development, and career and industry exploration, inspiring educators to connect youth with the origins of their food, fiber, and fuel and prepare future consumers, policymakers, and leaders.

"Kansas agriculture is an enormous economic element in our state which is why supporting organizations like KFAC is so essential," says Stuckey. "By supporting ag education, we can be a part of the progress and have an impactful impression on our future generation. Let’s grow something together!"

Central National Bank and Farm Credit Associations of Kansas have pledged their support by matching donations during this campaign. Join us and invest in the future of Kansas agriculture!
