Soil Under Your Feet
Students will watch an "Apple Land Use Model" demonstration and the division of an apple into the parts of the earth's surface to learn about the limited natural resource of topsoil available for growing all the food, fiber, and lumber for our ever-growing earth population. Through listening, observing, writing, and speaking, students will study the surface of the earth and the available land for agricultural use.
