Twenty-four teachers will be selected to attend an exclusive Agriculture in Action Professional Development Workshop, presented by Kansas Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom (KFAC).
Join us for an immersive, hands-on workshop designed to bring agriculture to life in your classroom! Explore Kansas State University’s state-of-the-art facilities, including a flour mill and bake science kitchen, where you’ll see firsthand how grain is transformed into food. Gain exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the science and technology driving the agriculture industry while learning about diverse career paths in food science, milling, and beyond.
In addition to the tours, you’ll engage in hands-on lesson plans to take back to your students—making agriculture education more interactive, relevant, and exciting. You’ll leave with classroom-ready resources, creative lesson ideas, and a deeper understanding of agriculture’s impact on our daily lives.
